ABOUT GOOD SHOT FIREARMS ACADEMY

Good Shot Firearms Academy was founded in 2020 to provide professional firearms safety and concealed carry certification training courses taught by NRA Certified Instructors to individuals seeking to own or carry a concealed pistol for personal safety and protection.
Our courses vary in size and as such, are taught in various locations within the Chicago Metropolitan / Suburban geographic areas.

NOTE ABOUT COVID 19: As a result of the pandemic, our courses have been on hold since 2021 but we are now pleased to resume classes again in the Spring of 2022!

COURSES WE OFFER

BASIC PISTOL SAFETY

This course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

• Individuals 21 and older that have applied for or possess a valid FOID card and DO NOT intend to acquire a Concealed Carry License

• Individuals under the age of 21 with a parent/guardian sponsor who has or is eligible for a FOID card

Concealed Carry Certification

This course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal protection.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

• Individuals 21 and older that have applied for or possess a valid FOID card and meet the eligibility requirements for acquiring a Concealed Carry License

Concealed Carry Renewal

This course covers the topics required by the State of Illinois for Concealed Carry Renewal

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
• Individuals that currently possess a valid Illinois Concealed Carry License and whose license is due to expire within 180 days
